GPS & UTM Coordinates, Hike to Pine Bench

The topic of discussion will be GPS/UTM usage. GPS Units allow hikers the ability to take it to the next level when it comes to Map & Compass. Being able to locate a place input the correct numbers in the correct format and follow an arrow to the place you want to go, just don’t forget the batteries. You won’t need to triangulate, you don’t have to see the stars, all you need is for the satellites’ to be working and the knowledge you’ll gain by attending this hike. Pine Bench is a place known by very few backcountry hikers, a great place to get away from the crowd and relax.
