The Cassini Mission: Up Close and Personal with Saturn

starsJoin Park Interpreter Ali Barnes at 8,500 feet to explore the night sky beyond the light pollution of Southern California. As we eagerly wait for the sun to set, learn more about the Cassini Mission orbiting Saturn at her 30-minute presentation at the Nichols Room of the Tram Mountain Station. Telescope viewing of Jupiter, Saturn, and beyond will follow the presentation.

We encourage you to make a day out of your trip, so come up for a refreshing hike on the park trails, dine at the tram restaurants, and join us later at 8:00 PM to round off your evening in this mountain paradise.

Date and Time: July 15, 2017 8:00-10:00 PM (last tram down 10:30 PM)
Meet at: The Nichols Room off the ground floor terrace of the mountain station.
