Characteristics: A 2-4 foot, narrow stem encircled with shiny leaves and tiny green flowers.

Blooms: July, August; LV, RV, TV

Comments: Crushed leaves are aromatic; used medicinally for colds, fever, and headache; juices applied to poison oak rashes.
